PILATES
Designed to work the body from the inside out, developing strength from the smallest muscles to the largest. Pilates uses the whole body to improve strength, connectedness and control. It increases flexibility, alignment, balance, and core strength, helping to alleviate back pain, weakness, and inflexibility. Private and Semi-Private sessions include work with the reformer, cadillac, and barrel. Mat Class, performed in small groups, may include fitness circles, flex bands, stability balls, and weighted poles, as well as the body, for resistance.
