Conditioning for the dancer as an athlete and artist is a mind-body exercise. Strength, balance, flexibility, alignment and imagery training need to come together as a balanced whole. We will practice physical skills as well as considering space, rhythm and phrasing to create coordination with your body’s specific structure.
We will cover material on the mat, reformers, small barrels, foam rollers, physio balls & balance boards.
No prior Pilates experience is required. Maximum 4 dancers/class.
